Birthday Card ~ Fluttering Fall {1st Post}

Fall officially arrived in our area last week.
Thing is no one told the weather that. lol
 We have unusually warm weather here,
 Tomorrow it is supposed to be 82 and sunny.
Considering we usually have pouring rain I'll take the sun.
Today I played around with a fall color combo.

*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.
*Sentiment from the Treasured Words stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Frame from the Die Sidekicks stamp set from Verve Stamps.

*Embossed using the Branches with Leaves and Flowers folder from Sizzix.

  1. What a lovely card you've made here! I really love how you carried the Fall theme through the entire project-- even the background! This background could look good in so many scenarios, but your color choice makes it perfect for this season. I also like the addition of the butterfly and the pop of green. I'm excited to drink hot chocolate and crunch Fall leaves under my feet! Thanks for sharing your work with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

  4. Embossing is wonderful, looks like piles of leaves that floated to the ground. This year we are not seeing the reds and oranges, more golds. Thank you so much for taking time to post your very creative art with us this week at Word Art Wednesday in our 202nd AG challenge!
